Two ziplock bags to transfer the bottom dregde to the classroom
2) Go to different edges of the pond and use the net to pick up mud from the bottom and shake out as much water as possible.
3) Place the bottom dredege in the tubs.
4) When you have collect enough bottom dredge from different areas of the water you then place it in the ziplock bags.
5) In the classroom you transfer the bottom dredge back into the tubs and sift through the muck to find different species of macro-invertebrates
6) Put two macro-invertebrates in each dish for classmates to look at them under the microscopes
7) Record data of the classrooms findings

- Two nets
- Two white tubs to put bottom dredge in
- Two ziplock bags to transfer the bottom dregde to the classroom
